2016 – 2023
Founder & CEO
Nuxt is an open-source framework for building full-stack web applications with Vue and TypeScript. It brings routing, server-side rendering, and backend APIs into a cohesive development experience, helping teams move from an initial idea to a production-ready application without assembling the stack themselves.
I founded and led NuxtLabs, a company of over 20 people. I set the product direction and oversaw company operations, including hiring, general and administrative functions, board relations, and go-to-market strategy. We raised $8 million across pre-seed (2019) and seed (2022) rounds. NuxtLabs was later acquired by Vercel in July 2025.
2024 – 2025
VP of Engineering
Directus is a data platform that turns a SQL database into a headless CMS and application backend. It provides REST and GraphQL APIs alongside a visual interface for managing content, data, permissions, and workflows. Developers retain control of their database schema, while non-technical teams can work with the same data without writing code.
I led an engineering organization of over 20 people, structured into product-focused teams. I established technical lead and management roles, with four managers reporting directly to me, and defined engineering priorities and roadmaps.
This structure helped the teams move faster and shorten delivery cycles, while reducing critical bugs and release regressions.
2026
Head of Developer Relations
Encore is an open-source backend framework for TypeScript and Go. Developers define services and infrastructure in code, while Encore handles local development and cloud provisioning, reducing the complexity of building and operating backend applications.
As Head of Developer Relations, I help developers discover, adopt, and build with Encore through technical content, practical examples, and onboarding.
